“Color of Love”: Meet Milagros Coleman

Welcome to the “Color of Love”, a series for the month of February featuring guest artists and other surprises. A series of colorful ideas, expressions and artistic views!

I’m happy to continue featuring talented emerging artists from the Melendez family. Today I feature Milagros Coleman, all the way from Connecticut and sister to Louis Melendez, our guest from February 6.  Milagros creates one of a kind intricate detailed masks with beads upon request. These may take months to create.

Please welcome todays guest of honor, Milagros Coleman:

About Me: About Me:
I am an artist having compassion for that which is spiritual in connection to the
world. From this, I find purpose though bead work in the form of art expressing the
concept of Orisa. In return, I draw strength in belief that all good things has it’s
origin, such as when we discover that art is a gift that must be brought to life.

What “Color of Love” Mean to Me:
The color of love evolves intuition to play a part in how we see the world within
ourselves before reality. Color is then perceived on subject matter embraced as we
celebrate the moment. Color is happiness when the senses are harmonious bursting
with individual quality to each person who will take time with eyes wide open.
