“Color of Love”: Meet Melissa Schroder

Welcome to the “Color of Love”, a series for the month of February featuring guest artists and other surprises. A series of colorful ideas, expressions and artistic views!

I’m excited to bring you a fellow Etsian artist, Melissa Schroder, she offers photography and original art at her shop. Melissa and me have a very special connection, we both lost a sibling. She understands the true meaning of, “I not only lost my sister, I lost my best friend”. We both honor our siblings in special ways and share a passion for art.

Please welcome todays guest of honor, Melissa Schroder:

About Me:
My passion in life is to create based on my soul alone. My family and my spiritual connection to the world move me to paint or draw what have turned out to be my favorite pieces of art. I live to create.

What “Color of Love” Mean to Me:
The “Color of Love” means kindness to me. My brother Eric, who passed away on Valentine’s Day, 2002, was the most giving person I knew while he was living and now in his death. He gave us the gift of “Eric’s Promise”. Learn more at http://www.ericspromise.com.

Melissa, thank you for sharing your art and photography!
